I Dream Of Change
The old man stared at me with his dark green eyes, then he pressed his hand to his head... "Hmm", he said softly... "What a very interesting name."... "Well come along Moon, ill show were you'll be sleeping tonight."....
The old man lead me upstairs into the old dusty cottage... at the top the stairs there was a very narrow small hallway... giving three rooms... two rooms on the left, and one on the right... then old man lead me to the second door telling me this was a extra bedroom he had...
Inside there was a bed in the middle of the room on the right hand corner facing sideways... with a rug under it... then a desk holding a lantern on the left side of the room...
I thanked the man for the room... then I shut the old bark dusty door and slowly... I laid on the bed wondering if I should leave or stay... and defiantly thinking about my mom and my dad...
Thinking if my mothers black raven hair that blended with night... then my dads dark blue eyes as if they looked like the moon was reflecting in a small pond...
Those are things I remember the most because those were things they gave to me... my black raven hair... blending with dads dark blue eyes... and my white pale skin... and that's why my parents named me "Moon."
Finally I went to sleep... I started dreaming of my family... before the night my parents were taken... I remember getting up in the morning where we were living in a small motel...
It was as same as this cottage... but I remember packing my things... finally telling myslef that we were going to have our own house, and that I would finally go to school...
I look so forward... but everything went downhill ever sense that night... that cold winter night.... I remember that I could hardly see anything with the white snow blowing right into my face...
Finally I woke up... I hurried down stairs where the old man was just sitting in one of his chairs... staring at a painting of a young women with brown hair and toad green eyes like him... he seemed so sad... I didn't say anything...
I hurried outside to see if the blizzard went down... finally when I went outside...
It was even worse...
