I Drink Green Smoothies...

I drink a 40 ounce green smoothie every day.

I have found the fountain of youth in a blender...
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup Carrots
  • 1/2 - 1 cup Kale or Spinach
  • 1/4 cup Celery (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/8 - 1/4 cup Radishes
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1/4 cup Berries
  • 1/2 Apple
  • 1/2/ Banana (High in sugar; substitute for berries and apple)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 Cilantro (optional)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 Curly Parsley
  • 1 heaping scoop Wheat Grass
  • 1 heaping scoop Rice Protein
  • 1 cup Cranberry Juice
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Honey (Optional)
  • 3 - 5 Ice cubes from Alkaline/ Filtered Water
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Pinch of habanero pepper
I feel energetic and ready to go in the morning.

This is a nice recipe. Instead of rice protein, I use one teaspoon of powdered spirulina, which is a protein-rich sea algae. And it's very green!

I'll try it tomorrow. I know Spirulina is great vitamin source. Thanks for the recommendation!
