An Acquired Taste

I've drunk Guinness for 35 years. You definitely have to acquire a taste for this stout  beverage. I liked it from the first sip. Some like to cut it half and half with regular beer. A dark and tan beer is the result. I like it straight on draft or bottle. If you haven't eaten anything it may kill your appetite.

Go slow on the first one. My friend couldn't drink it and felt sick after trying it. I don't think that's a normal response.

If Guinness isn't available I'll drink a Beck's Dark. Not bad either.
