Grad School Did Not Need Me!

I
dropped out of grad school after one year going for an MFA. I thought I needed that exra degree to make powerful work, but now I think it would only have helped me to get a teaching job.I do know I was miserable in large part because of the atmosphere of the program, and I don't see the necessity of being miserable as a prereq for being well-educated, particularly in the arts.
