I have to dumb myself down ALOT with the people I know. I can't have intelligent conversations about things I am actually interested in, because I get blank looks or stupid answers. And jeez, I know I ain't really smart, but it would be nice to have a discussion with someone which makes me think, instead of dumbing myself down so someone else doesn't hate me.......

That's terrible! You shouldn't have to do that. The only time I stop and try to simplify what I'm saying is if I'm trying to explain something to someone and I realize I am using words they don't understand. Then it's okay. Otherwise? No way, don't dumb down .... make them rise to your level!

that isnt good you shouldnt dumb yourself down and why would somebody hate you because you are smart if they do they have issues
