I know it's a bit mean to ask this of you, but I've always wanted to see what happens when this happens and wouldn't dare to try it myself.

Right, you say that you keep trying to cut down on what you eat and no matter what you do you keep having cravings? Well, why don't you try to eat. Like, instead of trying to kick the urge away, why not indulge it? I don't know why I really thought of it, it just seemed to make some sort of reverse sense. :P

If not that, then perhaps identify when you eat and what's going through your head and when you last ate. Certain foods could be causing you to want to eat more. Like, whenever I eat grapes, it's carbohydrate central here.

And if that still doesn't work, have you ever thought about fasting when you know your 'bad times' are? That way, you can exercise willpower with a label rather than simply 'resisting the urge'. Like, I know that saying, "I'm Fasting, so I can't eat", is a frikkin' stronger way of not eating that saying, "I can't eat because I'll become X/Y/Z".

    :)

I know how you feel, it is obsessive. Are you taking any medication that may be causing hunger as a side effect? Any changes in your level of activity?
