It Will Be Good to Get This Out...

A longtime friend of mine (who I had reconnected with last year) made me really angry and I stormed out of his apartment because I was done with talking with him.  I think maybe I made a bigger deal of it than I really felt so that he knew I meant it.   I didn't call him and he didn't call me for 6 months.   Finally, I broke down last week and gave him a call.  He answered a bit surprised to hear from me.  After I asked him how he was doing he said, "Um... could you not call here anymore?"  I just answered with a quick and sickeningly cheerful "oh! Yeah sure!" He said, "Sorry." I said, "That’s ok." And hung up.

The thing is I don't really care to have him in my life... but recalling that phone call bothers me a bit.  I think it's more that I rejected him in the first place and then allowed for him to get me back.  Sort of a horrible thought but it's good to get it out.

Ouch! That would definitely hurt. I remember what it was like when I broke up with my ex's... you feel like your breaking up with their family and that's not an easy break either.

Yeah I totally agree. I think maybe i would care more if we had been talking over the last 6 months. Neither of us made an attempt so really I guess we don't need each other.

Well you Made the Mature Decision in Calling him at least Showing you Cared...he Did the irresponsible Childish by Dishing out Not to Call Anymore...but That's how he Feels at the moment..but you blocked him out of your life First So honestly if he didnt feel like Talking to you...Now you know Who your Real Friends are......
