Knitting For A Cause

I enjoy knitting very much and I knit for various different charities throught the year. I knit stocking caps, slippers, scarfs and lap robes for militay hospitals. I also knit stocking caps for newborns in need a group that supplies the caps to hospitials providing preemie care. I have also made lap robes for local nursing homes and I am stating to knit squares for warm up America. I get a lot of enjoyment out of the knitting and a lot of satisfaction out of knowing that I am helping people in need.

    tHAT'S A REALLY WONDERFUL THING TO DO. I WISH THAT I COULD KNIT QUITE QUICKLY AGAIN AGAIN. IT IS RELAXING AND I AM A NEAT KNITTER, BUT FORGOT SO MUCH ATER 20 OR SO YEARS OF NOT KNITTING, JUST FINISHED A BEAUTIFUL SCARF BUT IT TOOK SO LONG. BEEN THINKING SHOULD I USE THE WOOL UP FOR A BLANKET AS A FRIEND SUGGESTED FOR CHARITY OR DONATE TO A KNITTING CIRCLE. ANYWAY, GOOD FOR YOU. LOVELY TO HEAR OF SOMEONE USING THEIR GIFTS ESPECIALLY TO HELP OTHERS
