Family Values

i have always enjoyed my family. even when i was a kid. sure, there were times when rules or circumstances were upsetting to a teenager, but for the most part my experience as a child made me really see the value of family. as i grew through adolescence into high-school, i knew what i wanted to be when i grew up. its funny to think of a seventeen year old sitting there telling your guidance councilor you plan on being a husband and father and when asked how you will support them the answer is "hard work". i have lived my dream, albeit , not easy. it is not supposed to be easy, is it? there are challenges and twists and turns, but the important part to me is the family is together. my oldest is in high-school now, and i am hoping he will choose the path that makes him happy, as i have.
