Staring At People

My wife and I both like to people watch and sometimes we are both guilty of staring. What’s even funnier is that we both have passed the habit to our little one. We have caught ourselves, all three of us now, at restaurants off in lala land staring at some kind of commotion going on. We have to remind ourselves that it is not a polite habit to have sometimes.

it's like bird watching. I like that. That's exactly what it's like. But sometimes we are bad. Like car wreck bad.

Polite-schmolite! People watch you and everyone else around them so why not watch right back? Don't believe me? Drop your fork in a restaurant, talk in a movie theater or start honking outrageously on the expressway and see how many heads turn. :-p There is no guilt to be had in people-watching my dear friend, none at all -- pretend they're birds; just don't get out the binoculars... :-D

Yes you are right. It’s a bad habit in deed. It is a work in progress though.

Hi maxxcrash
I did not think it was rude to stare at a commotion. Rude just to stare at people though.
