My Substitute Teacher

On Thursday my Spanish Teacher wasnt at school because she was sick so we had a sub. The sub then began to ask random students in the class questions. Once she got to me she asked, "What college are you going to?" I told her that I really didnt no because I had a big variety. She then replied by saying "Go to a HBU because no other college wants you there because you are a black girl." I was was confused by her saying this to me because I was expecting her to encourage me not bring me down because my skin color.

That was way out of line. It would have been a good thing to report that incident to your school's administration.

  I got most of my classmates to call and we called them again during school the next day with my teacher and they told us we would not be seeing her anymore.

  In this day I would hope not. I recall back in my grade school days, the first time I heard the N Bomb was from a teacher.

  Yeah I told her that most of the colleges that I got accepted in were Private Colleges....And I called downtown and reported her so I think she got fired
