Several Time In Life This Has Happened . . .

But, I've never completely fainted - always caught myself prior to being completely out of it.

Once when I was singing with a choir, a soloist fainted and the conductor motioned for me to sing her part.  The song just went on as if nothing happened - totally weird experience.  Where was the emotion and caring here - I was a teenager and didn't quite know how to act in this situation.

That reminded me of a forgotten incident that took place when I was about 14. I was watching the school choir perform (I can't sing but I liked to listen). Without warning, one girl fainted and sank out of sight among the people who were standing near her. I was was a bit shocked by this, but stunned by what followed: another kid down. And another. Twenty or so kids passed out. I don't understand what that was all about, looking back. Perhaps fear and panic? Too much standing? Did they all REALLY faint? I'll never know.
