Babies and Children with Skin Problems

Last Mens North Face Soft Shell Jackets Black summer my DD was in the sun a lot with swim lessons and the beach. She developed light spots all over her legs and arms and a few on her face. She did not get very tan, just a bit of color as I was good with the sunscreen, but the light spots showed up pretty well. From what I have read they look like pityriasis alba, but they cover so much of her body that I wonder if it is something else.

They range in size from pencil eraser to nickel and are north face backpacks cheap everywhere the sun touched that she gets eczema patches. They would be itchy pink spots, and then turn white when the pink color faded and then be very light. Not drastically light, but just a shade or two lighter.

Her Ped just told me it was from her eczema, and nothing i can do but keep her covered and sunscreen, but I was wondering if anyone else is dealing with this or knows of anything else that I can do for it.

IF the spots are in her most common eczema spots it is most likely from one of two things.

Meds or scarring.

We all know the steroids carry the warning they may lighten north face canada skin (pigment loss). While it is not a wdiely common side effect, it does happen. Sometimes it is temporary, sometimes permanent.

Another possibility is from scarring. Yeha, figure that oen out, it can cause pigment loss, but it is also used to re-pigment vitiligo skin.

In the end I agree with your dr. Right now your best bet is to keep applying the sunscreen and hope that it is only temporary. But you can always seek out a derm for peace of mind of course,

My son had eczema until he was two. He is almost 4 now. Three months ago, he developed light spots on his face. The pediatrician thought it was just eczema, but she sent a photo to the dermatologist, North Face Jacket Sale who said it was pityriasis alba. Her email said that the only prevention was to use a good moisturizer and sunscreen could keep the spots from being so evident. She said it could take 6 mos to a year for the normally pigmented skin cells to surface.
