do fear getting old, a lot. I don't mean in the sense of wrinkles, I'm worried about not being able to do things for myself anymore, perhaps I'll get alzheimers - it's scarey. I don't want to ever be dependant on someone else, I don't want someone else to come and bath me or shower me, I want to change my own socks, make my own food and put myself to bed. The loss of independance is such a scarey thought. I know that a lot of old people are patronized a lot, people talk to them as if their 5years old - that annoys me, I don't want all these things to happen to me *sigh*

| Posted Apr 27th, 2008 at 1:05PM We thought my grandad had alzheimers before, was so scarey - he was forgetting stuff and getting all confused, but then it turned out that it was all because of blood poisoning, I didn't even know it could do that but apparently it can do all sorts. |
