..sometimes youre just too close to the situation to see how violent and damaging a relationship can be to your own personal well being. I rely on those closest to me to help filter through all the losers I attract.. lol.

    You're both smart to do that. It was hard for me to learn how to have a healthy relationship with a man because I grew up in a home where my dad beat the sh*it out of me. I am so proud to say that I am finally in a healthy relationship... and glad to hear that others are striving to get to that point.

    That's good thinking. I always listen to others about things like that now. I use my own judgement, but people who don't have thier emotions involved can see a lot clearer than the one in the middle of the storm.
