I Feed the Birds
We live far from the sea and we have noticed as others have an increase in the population of Seagulls. They favour the high roofs of the factories where the young are safe from prowling cats and they are very territorial.
They have started to dive bomb all of the smaller birds we feed in the garden and have on occasions had a try at stealing food from us in the garden.
There is a wealth of food in the town below us and they are simply thriving. Inland colonies are now being discussed beyond local government in the parliament houses and no-one seems to be discussing the reason why they are migrating. Are the fish stocks that low or is life so much easier inland?
