    Yeah done that on many occassion as well though I can not get our local gulls to peck the food out of my hand. But to my daughters delight they catch it mid air. She does get annoyed with the gulls though when they steal the bread off the ducks she is trying to feed. To be four years old again with a well developed sense of fair play.

    Even on a cold day I know we can still go to the beach. I just pick up a dollar bag of oyster crackers and go feed the gulls. I think they remember us. they pluck them right out of our hands. Awesome experiences.

    So true, all of my fondness memories of childhood stem from the simple things we did as a family.

    It is the small things like going with our parents to feed the ducks, that we remember. We may not remember that big plastic toy that we obsessed about every time it was advertised on tv. We do remember feeding the ducks. What a gift to give your child.
