Thanks for the positive comments - it helps alot. You are both right. I do right by others and by doing so I ALSO do right by myself. ("Love your neighbor as yourself" means to love your neighbor AND yourself, after all!) I can bless them whether it comes right back my way or not. I'm really over it now and doing much better. I remind myself not to take things so PERSONALLY - others are on their own journey and they may not even realize their behavior is hurtful to ohers. This has served me well during the past tumultuous year. I appreciate your support.

There is a selfishness that has invaded our society. We fail to see it most of the time. My eyes were opened to it and there are so many times that I wish they had not been. Just do what you believe to be right and center your self on that. Then no one can shake you even when they take you for granted. This is what I'm trying to do though I'm not always successful.

Our kids are grown and I have a great relationship with them but there are times that I certainly feel unappreciated. I do a lot of the cooking, the yard work, and even my laundry but often it seems it goes unnoticed by the lady.
