I Can't Accept My Being Fat

I have always felt fat, but now i am.  Not seriously overweight, just maybe 20 lbs.  I have bulimia too, which complicates matters.  Was anorexic at a time.  But, I am seriously am over the ideal weight for my height.  I hate exercise, but I have to do something.  I want to learn a diet, but it has to very simple.  I can actually fast better than trying to diet the right way.  I just don't know what to do.  I wish that someone lived nearby that would diet and exercise with me every day, and make it fun.  STUCK!

Well what i do is have crackers and peanut butter just once a week and if i get really hungry during the week i'll just have alcohal which is very affective because you forget about being fat and your not hungry for like a while..well thats how i work.

I struggle with bulimia too. I always tend to feel fat no matter what I weigh - myself image of my body is kind of warped. Plus I sometimes weigh myself in the morning and if i don't like what I see I feel lousy about myself all day, like somehow my weight is more important than who i am inside. Try not to worry about your 'ideal weight for your height'... I know this sounds impossible but think of all of your good qualities and appreciate yourself as you are, and be patient with yourself... you can lose weight, one day at a time- but an extra 20 lbs is not the end of the world.

Fasting would have to be the worst way to lose weight EVER. In fact, it's a very good way to GAIN weight. It works like this: when you fast, your body chews up your muscles. With less muscle, your body burns less fat throughout the day, meaning that when you stop fasting, your body piles on fat (because its scared that there will be another fast) and it has no muscle to burn any of the fat when you try to get rid of it! Basically, fasting just makes you fat :P

The easiest way to diet is to not diet, just eat healthy. 2/3 - 3/4 of what you eat should be vegetables, preferably green and leafy, then add in the starch and meat. When enjoy dessert, enjoy it! Go for the full calorie, rich, and SATISFYING dessert, and then eat only a little bit: thats all you'll need! As for exercise, just remember that right after it starts to hurt is when the endorphins kick in! plus, half an hour of exercise three days a week is the recommended amount. Thats less time than if you watched two TV shows a week. Search Couch to 5k to get an awesome plan to start running. You can do it!
