I Feel Forgotten

EP Is Making It Better, Slowly. =)

I use to literally go months without anyone contacting me. It would feel like I was the last person on earth. If I didn't have groceries delivered, I'd never know that the world is still revolving.

Winter is the worst. Usually I have to have 2 - 3 months of groceries delivered at once because of the frequency of snow storms where I am. It can make my road impossible to drive on. Most of the time I don't mind it, but I find I miss seeing the truck that my delivery man comes in. He's the only one I see most weeks. My therapist tries to get up to see me, but if I can't get down to her, chances are she can't get up to me. Hee Hee. We spend a lot of time on the phone. Not the same, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

I think that was probably the reason I gave into "Mel" 6 weeks ago. I was going stir crazy in the house all by myself. I hadn't seen anyone in quite a while and I just wanted to have some contact. :( Even the weather co-operated with me. It was like it was meant to be..... Obviously not, but you know what they say, Hindsight and all that. =(

    My nearest neighbour is about 25 acres away. I own about 8, the government owns about 10, and my neighbour owns the rest. Plus, we both have our houses quite far back on our respected properties and I don't socialize.....at all!

    Yeah, come to Florida. I'll show you some of my favorite spots in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island, Gainesville, Tallahassee, and Orlando

    i feel the same way sylver. but like you said, EP is making it better. I can't live without this place anymore, at least not happily :)

    Hee Hee. I would if I didn't have such a hard time dealing with heat. I've never liked summer because of it. Probably why I've never moved to the southern states. Hee Hee.

    I actually adore winter. I love the snow, it's just the seclusion. I think this winter was the worse so far in the 5 years I've lived here. =)

    Seclusion would be very hard for most people to deal with.

    Even more so if you are snowed in for most of that seclusion.

    I would enjoy being away like that for a month or so but for the whole winter it would me to much.
