I have a couple of thoughts. 1) The idea that at some point in life we just "figure it all out" is bit of a fairy tale. I'm not sure most people ever figure out exactly what they want to do. Also, it is virtually impossible to sit at home and figure out what you want out of life. The more you experience the more you will change your mind. So if you are uncertain about the direction you want to go in the future, I highly advise bringing new people and experiences into your life. Also, don't get hung up on trying to get the goal 100% specific at first. I.e., if your goal is to work in, say the music industry, don't limit yourself by saying "I HAVE to have this job otherwise I just don't want to work in the music industry at all." Getting exactly where you want professionally takes time and your path will not be perfect, not matter how excellent a planner you are. Simple and more general goals are a good start and the more progress you make in life, the easier it will be to narrow your goals and focus in on what you really want. I'm not saying don't go for what you really want, just that often getting from here to your dream life can be a bit daunting at first, so take baby steps. Once you figure out what you want, don't stress if you don't know exactly how to get it. Others have walked your path before, talk to people and professionals in your field(s) of choice and you will be amazed at the wisdom they share. Once you have completed the "what you want " and "how to get it" steps, you will probably be so enthusiastic about getting it no one will be able to stop you. Best of luck!

im sure you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it!
