I Don't Belong HereI've lived in a dinky pathetic little town in southern Missouri all my life. I go to a tiny speck of a school filled with homophobic racist rednecks who reject anyone who is slightly different.
I am rejected.
I'm the mistake puzzle piece that has gotten shuffled into the wrong jigsaw puzzle. Everyone else seems to slide perfectly in place but I don't fit anywhere.
I realize I'm not meant to be here. There's a reason I don't mesh with them. It's because I'm not one of them.
But maybe somewhere out there I can find my them. Maybe I can belong. Someday.
