I'm from Holland and moved to the USA recently. In Europe we have a very relaxed attitude to nudity. In Holland and some other countries nudity as such is not an offence. Only if you are in places not suited for nude recreation, you may have a problem if somebody complains. In Holland, you can be nude on your own property, visible or not from the public roads. Unless you do something obscene. But with the influence of people of Islamic beliefs in Europe, the playfield is slowly changing.
The biggest mistake uninformed people make is the link between nudity and sex.

Sadly this is all too common. I know of a fellow nudist who had ten acres of heavy wooded land with a long narrow driveway. It is clearly posted "no tresspassing" and "private property- please do not enter"

Yet for some reason a person drove up his driveway to his house spotted him sunbathing in the back yard on his deck and called the police. A patrol car responded. The officer talked to him and agreed that he did not do anything wrong. The officer radioed back that the call was unfounded. And the officer left.

But what rights do you have when someone totally disregards your signs and warnings. Trespasses on your property and then calls the police on YOU ?

From the road you can not see his house. You can not see his deck at the back of the house unless you drive up the driveway and walk down the sidewalk to the back of the house. But it seems that this stranger did.

It has been a few years since this happened and nothing ever came of it. But you still have to wonder what rights do you have on your own property.

A long time ago I was a mail carrier. People do all sorts of interesting things, especially in the summer. The people who sunbathed on my route knew that I am a nudist.

That reminds me of another story. When my parents were still alive they lived in Fla. They had saved me a newspaper clipping. A mail carrier retired and his route went to a female carrier. He would deliver the mail to a nudist resort. Go into the office and around the backside of the mail slots and fill the residents boxes.
The new carrier refused to deliver the mail there because there were "nude people there. And that was sexual harassment" She admitted that she knew that the resort was on the route when she signed for it. But she did not expect to see "naked people". Can we say "DAH?" lol

I would think having a nudist resort on a mail route would make that bid desirable. Get buzzed through the gate, open the boxes, distribute the mail, collect the outgoing, maybe chat with someone and on back to the route. Sexual harassment? Is that what someone says about greeting a mail carrier?

What I remember of the newspaper they were making light of her complants. She knew what was involved before taking the route. She signed for it and got it. So the local post office was not going to reassign the route to someone else thus the sexual harrassment complaint on her part.

You sign for the job, you have to take as it is. Not to expect everyone to bend to your wants or needs.

Well. I can only surmise that the sight of you stirred up feelings in her that she would rather not feel. Maybe your image was burned into the back of her eye lids so that even if she closed her eyes, there you were. My stars! I believe I'm getting the vapors! : )

I dont understand why people can't just mind their own business and stop wasting our law enforcements time on something thats not life threatening.

      Mahal,

Maybe when they see a naked man they think it is assault with a friendly weapon? lol

I agree wholeheartedly! I lived on 50 acres of pagan land a while back. It never failed on every festival the police were called by the neighbors. In order to see any nudity, the way things were set up, they would have to actually look over a huge wooden fence blocking them. Of course, nothing ever became of it and the cops never did anything to us.

The cops probably got tired of the calls. If they didn't smell any weed and everyone seemed calm, no problems. If helps too if the land owner is on good terms with local law enforcement too.
