Old Age And Death

I've been through most of the stories of this group. The thing that shocks me is that most of the members here aren't old. They're young, they're middle-aged, but they're not old. "Old" means to me that whatever else you're doing, you have to take death into consideration. In other words, you have a finite life with conscious limits. You may not know when you're going to go, but it's not too far away now. That affects what you're going to do and how you're going to do it. You probably don't want to start any twenty-year projects. You may be irritated by young people's obvious belief that they'll live forever. You're more interested in the essence of life, the real, true, non-reducible basis of life. So that you're not wasting precious time.

Being old isn't all that bad if you have some freedom to choose how you'll spend your time. You're no longer punching a clock and, assumedly, know how to enjoy your time when you're not working any more. Being old isn't all that bad if you don't have any painful, stressful, or highly limiting chronic diseases that tend to show up when you're older. Being old isn't all that bad if you have a very lively mental life; having fun analyzing what's going on in and around you and seeing deeper than you have before.

But there are increasing limitations on you as you get older. The memory problem, the old bones problem, the growing prevalence of pain exceeding pleasure in your daily life. And you know about these by seeing your contemporaries, and those a little older than you are, attacked by problems you can look forward to yourself. You know you need an out, just in case, a way of ending things just before those things become impossible, as only you can judge them. Some kind of overdose. A firearm. They make you feel better, more in control of a process over which you have no control.

Me, personally, I have no intention of going to a nursing home. A rehab facility for a couple of weeks, maybe. A permanent bed in a nursing home, no. I've seen the inside of such places while visiting loved ones. And I just don't love life enough to insist on living when it has to be done in such a place. Even if they're well-run. It's just the atmosphere. Probably better than prison, but by how much?

Old age and death are inseparable. If you don't think about death once a day, you're not old. It's that simple.

curing sickness and old age with TIME you can control.
Here’s the recipe for the cure….

WARNING: DO NOT CHANGE HISTORY FOR PARTS THAT LEAD TO KIDS!

1. USE YOUR MIND - IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE JUST IN YOUR HEAD!

2. YOUR BODY IS A RAIL LEADING TO YOUR REALITY. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT DIVIDE WHILE DOING THIS EXERCISE OR YOU WILL HAVE TO START OVER. YOU WILL NOT DIVIDE IF YOU THINK YOU WILL NOT, MOST LIKELY! (ANGELS HELP)

3. THINK OF TIME TAKING 24 HRS TO GO 24 HRS. (SPEED 1)

4. IMAGINE IT GOING THREE TIMES FASTER AND THREE TIMES SLOWER, BUT NOW IT’S STUCK TOGETHER. (SAME SPEED AS 1)

5. SPREAD OUT OVER TIME AND BE SURE TO STAY ON THE CUSP ALWAYS EVEN WHEN YOU THINK IN THE PAST.

6. IF YOU WERE GOING TO GET CANCER OF THE EYEBALL WITHIN A YEAR START FAR ENOUGH IN THE PAST THAT THE PART GETS HERE BEFORE IT CATCHES CANCER. GIVE THE PART AN EXTRA NUDGE (3X FASTER) AND AT THE SAME TIME, SLOW IT DOWN HERE ON THE CUSP (3X SLOWER).

7. TELL A FRIEND IF IT WORKED FOR YOU!

8. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT THE WORD GETS OUT. THAT BEING SAID, IF IT WORKS ON CANCER, IS THERE A PRIZE OR SOMETHING?

9. TO LOOK YOUNG, JUST DO THE SKIN ON YOUR FACE.

10. FOR VIRUSES, JUST GRAB THEM WITH YOUR MIND AND SLOW THEM DOWN BY 1/3 SPEED, 6 TIMES, A WEEK AGO…..REPEAT IF YOU STILL ARE SICK.

11. FOR FOOD POISONING, USE THE SAME METHOD AS THE VIRUSES IN #10, BUT ADJUST HOW FAR BACK IN HISTORY YOU GO TO BE WHEN YOU ATE THE BAD STUFF!-

Read christopherschmistopher time cure Remedy………slow it down by one third speed, (it only goes 8 hrs in your 24hrs,) six times a week ago. You will be creating a paradox by thinking in the past, so it is important to conglomerate reality by sliding to the left in your mind while you do this for just a moment. You will feel it in your spine and you should get a straight up and down feeling. To slow it down, grab it with your mind! You can “stick” to it if you try! When you are done slowiing it down a week ago, try to bring your mind back to the cusp instantly! (If you think it took a week to get back, your consciousness might be sore. If it is, use a different part of it to treat the sick area the same way, retroactively.)

Your mind does not have to be just in your head! It can be stretched to incredible sizes, and can even be out in the universe. (Try thinking a thought on the ceiling…)

You should not do this on yourself until you feel sick! (If you ever do). This is because by then your immune system is responding by creating antibodies for the virus!

When you do it, you should feel better immediately! If you were sick, and you do not feel better, perhaps you did not conglomerate reality while you did it! The slide to the left is a fast, fast slide! If you need to, ask God, Goddess, or the angels for help!

If you still feel sick, try to divide your antibodies for ebola into many by paradoxing them WITHOUT conglomerating reality. You can do this by sliding a thought (glyph) backwards in time a few minutes that pulls on the antibodies (NOT THE VIRUS!) If you screw up, back your mind up and push it forward the correct way, no big deal!

If you get it, it will hit you gradually and you will build up an immunity to it, as long as you (or somebody) do/does what is written here!

This cure should be used as little as possible, but if you need to, don’t feel bad about repeating it!

If you waited to long, you can get you body “pre-ebola” back by using the 3,1, and 1/3 time cure described at christopherschmistopher.tumblr.com, which is for youthful looks, and also is a cancer cure. It involves using your mind to literally “make” time!

Please let me know if this helps you!

Dear Literaturegirl,

You're absolutely right, you don't need to be old to think about death. But when you ARE old I think people think more frequently about death. It's natural. Among people who aren't guarding themselves against the truth. And by "thinking about death," I mean taking it into account, consciously or unconsciously, as when you do things you haven't done before because of your (perhaps unconscious) feeling that you won't get many more chances to do this. Like Bush 41 sky-diving. And from your example, I would say that denying death is one of the ways we think about death. So the person not making a will IS thinking about death in my way of speaking.

As for twenty-year projects, I personally would want to see the outcome of my projects and doubt that I'd see that outcome if it were twenty years away. For those who don't care about seeing outcomes, this reasoning doesn't apply.

As to "real, true non-reducible basis of life," that to me would be (1) encounters with others that go much farther on both sides in levels of honesty and empathy, something I previously have avoided almost completely; (2) encounters with countryside of all varieties, walking and cycling, again, something I haven't done enough of by far; (3) more serious encounters with all kinds of music, which I've previously treated as muzak and just skimmed the surface of.

Talking, the outdoors, serious music, these are for me the basis of life. I know plenty of people who would exchange one or two of these with others, for example: cooking, directed reading, physical fitness, yoga, religious commitment, etc. But not all of them.
