Names like "Leda" and "Leanne" would have gone really far if it weren't for some girl...

As for "Erika", no one's predicting that one ever really had a shot anyway... Would things have been different if this person had been a hero instead of villain? I'm guessing no...

    I think it largely has to do with who got there first... If I'm already developing feelings for a name when a truly nasty person with that name shows up, it's probably not going to have incredible impact... But if someone can sour me to a name before my feelings really get going, then it could be a problem.
