I completely understand how you feel.

I can really relate. I feel that way a lot but I do also feel that it's not good to allow myself to focus on it. I try to do my best to surround myself with the things that make me happy, that make me smile, deep connections with people, things that are important to my life. I also have come to the thought that if I was completely content with my life and had no room to move further, then I wouldn't be living anymore. I'd be dead. The mystery of life is so beautiful. Its hard but really simple. You're always on your way to somewhere, something, and if you weren't... you'd be done. I feel empty a lot, yearning, wanting more... but you (and I) can't let yourself get too far down... realize that you are ALIVE and start living. :)

Perhaps what you were seeking wasn't really what you wanted in the first place.

Do you think that GOD is missing from within you? I don't mean religion, or going to church. What I mean is a deep love for self. God teaches us faith through introspection, faith in HIM and in ourself.

    Just a thought!

thats just it. I really don't have any dreams for my life. I've lost alot of faith in following what I want.

What are your dreams for your life? Once you know what they are then you will not feel like it is missing anything because you can pursue your dreams.

Who knows indeed. I can relate. I have been told that it's perhaps because I don't have kids. But it's not that, it's beyond that.

    Good luck to you

I totaly understand what your saying here, ive always felt im not complete and feel im always searching for what it is thats missing.... but like yourself i dont even know what im looking for....maybe it comes from not ever really making that connection with our true self!!....I guess we just have to accept how we feel and try not to dwell too much on it, although i know how hard it is.....many people are content with living their life without the need to feel complete, others like us need to feel complete in order to live!!

i think its because we are always on an ongoing quest for the holy us! but i think that even if we found it we'd still be searching for something, vanilla4

Maybe there is nothing wrong with those feelings, and instead of tying to avoid them we should just accept them, and try to understand where they come from? when do we feel them, and when we dont. They are just part of us
