It Feels Like Time Is Slipping Away...

I don't know if all of you feel it but I feel time is slipping away. Just the late nineties and now into a new decade I feel if I don't stop to really take in the moment another year will pass in the blink of an eye. It's more than just time slipping away though if you can relate. It's a feeling like I really have to do something very important in my life but I don't know what it is yet. I'm going to college and surviving this way off student loans as well because I have moved to a small town with little jobs. The city I am from, Phoenix, was not working for me because of money running out and little jobs. I am happier though where I am now. The recession is just everywhere in this country, can't ecscape that.

I live with family right now but all in all this world I know is in for great change not doom. Though this country is in for great change I feel great change is needed within the people.

I think everybody is still trying to live in the same world that we have known for many years now.

Is it working or just getting harder to maintain this world we're all accustomed to?

Is everybody just waiting for a savior? Does everybody all together think that doom is ahead?

I think neither a savior nor doom will come to this world but it has to change because I feel we're supporting

       a dying system.

It's easier to just walk than carry this dying horse as if it will just start back up again.

I'm not trying to tell you something you probably don't at some level already feel.

It's a time to get creative though I feel and a time to think about what life would be like without this system.

What if the best from a distant past say the past your great grandparents grew up in was mixed with the best of the present?

Community was more important back then, things were simpler and more localized as far as food, goods and what not.

Combined with today's vast resource of the internet and technology that would help local food production within a community that actually has to depend on each other to survive.

Money as it is all a part of an exchange medium and were so worried about that these days for good reason, can't it be goods you produce and services you render for other goods and services.

Now if your still with me I will get back to my initial point. The dreadful economy. Time slipping away. Doing something important.

I don't think doing something important in my life goes any further than changing the way I live and think in this country to a positive way. The dreadful economy is just an " exchange system". Time slipping away as a feeling is maybe a wake-up call for change to occur with each individual.

God Bless America because we're just about getting ready to rock&roll. -Peace

GREAT VIEW!. The end isn't coming. Change is taking place!I agree, something has to change. The present system sucks badly!

The old days when bartering was the exchange medium worked GREAT! Then the evildoers found a way to get rich off everybody! Capitalism is altogether wrong! Even with what it has done to further our human cause it is still a viscous cancer that has to grow to survive. It must be squashed!

The majority don't realize that with capitalism you're not paid in exchange for your labor, but according to what the man thinks you need to survive!

I think we have been given the chance to change for thousands of years. Something or someone is probably getting ready to straighten the evildoers out real soon like they have done in the past!

See you in the future!
