i love to follow true crime stories, especially ones that are evolving right in front of our eyes.

this case has been a rollercoaster from the beginning. seriously, you can't make this stuff up. reading all of the documents released by the orange county sheriff's department is like reading a novel. except that you have to keep reminding yourself that a real baby has been missing for months now.

[if you're not familiar with the case, this is a good place to start:]

what keeps making headlines is the bizarre behaviour of caylee's mother, casey. but whenever i search google news for updates about the case, i search for 'caylee anthony'. i guess i'm trying to remind myself about what the case is really about.

i watched the video of caylee singing 'you are my sunshine' yesterday, and it absolutely melted my heart. what a precious little girl. she had a personality, thoughts, feelings, and people that truly love and care about her. gone, in the blink of an eye.

it seems like too often in this world the innocent are forced to pay for others' mistakes.

i'm praying for you caylee, and for those that care about you and are desperately hoping for answers.

and for all the families across the world looking for loved ones. i can't imagine having to live day by day not knowing where someone you care about is. please let them find peace.

so true.

This was sad as hell when it first happened, and only went downhill from there...
