Every day feels like a chore. I can hardly study for school and things that once gave me joy just seems boring after a short while. I don't have the energy to do anything. When I see people post of their social events on Facebook, I get extremely lonely.

Ever since the death of Robin Williams, it's been like depression awareness week on Facebook. I honestly wonder if I said I had depression on Facebook, how many people would actually care to do anything.

I know what you mean, taking life one hour at a time worked for me....

OK, like living in the moment?

I was thinking something similar earlier. You made a valid point. Maybe people don't recognize your depression because you seem normal on the outside. Maybe they're waiting for you to reach out for help. People aren't psychic, and if you dont tell someone how you feel, they probably won't know. I know it's tough, and I'm sorry that you feel that way. But know that you aren't alone, and there are probably friends on your Facebook now that feel the same way.

True, I always forget people aren't psychic. Thanks for the advice.
