Seeing as how my entire family lives in another country and I live here for job reasons, I can honestly say that I battle my inner demons constantly. I do have a few close acquaintances, but getting home from work everyday to an empty place with not even a pet, it totally kills me. Depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts all combine to eat at your very heart and soul everyday, so much so that I often feel that I won't last very long at this rate. Booze helps, the happy pills also help, but I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle against my demons and it's been going on for years. Sooner or later they're gonna get me and it won't be pretty, but then again I'm just tired of fighting. So very tired.

you can't have your job transfer you to the same country as your family? or if you're just there temporarily, just endure for a little while longer and don't forget to often contact a close relative so you won't so lonely
