I Am Depressed. ...

I am depressed. I have been feeling like this for a real long time and before I didn't really know why I didn't want to get out of bed. I would spend most of my days sleeping. And then around January I began to have headaches. I went to my PCP and he ran a series of blood work ranging from CBC to TSH. I even got glasses and I've always had perfect vision. He also order an MRI of my brain to make sure that it wasn't Cancer. I was so scared. Being the person that I am I conviced myself that I had cancer and was going to die! My all my test results showed that I was in perfect health. That's when he asked me if I was stressed and I told him that I was. He said that when he first saw me he thought that I looked very sad. He asked me if I was depressed and I told him that at times I have the biggest urge to just run away. To just leave everything and just go.

My depression has fluctuated throughout the years. One time my hair started falling out. This past/recent time it was headaches; tension headaches to be exact. I didn't know stress could cause such pain. I was in the ER on multiple occasions with pain. The doctors are now trying to get the right meds for me to help the depression. I'm not very hopeful at this point. But I wanted to let you know, your not alone. I'm here too.
