Can One Forgive, But Not Forget?

I’ve heard that if you don’t forget, then you haven’t forgiven, but must we really forget to forgive? I remember things from years ago that I really bare no ill will to the person. I remember, but wouldn’t use it against them, nor do I dislike them for it. I’ve forgiven them long ago.
