here are a number of groups here on EP I disagree with and even dislike, but these really bother me.
- I Love to Take Nude Pictures of My Wife (49 people say this)

- I Enjoy Showing Off Nude Pictures of My Wife (183 people say this)
- I Would Like to Trade Email Pics of Nude Wives (80 people say this)
- I Like to Trade Nude Pics of My Sexy Girlfriend (14 people say this)
- I Find Local People to Trade Wife's Pictures (3 people say this)
What's worst about these are the stories about how their wives do not know about this photo-swapping nor approve of it!!!

This is an edit (8 days after the original story) that I did not think I had to make, as most people who have commented seem to understand this, but which I apparently need to make.
While I am not big on swapping nude photos on the Internet in any circumstance, as one never knows what will happen to them, I am not opposed to consenting adults doing this. It is, after all, their business and not mine. What I do not like, and what this Group was all about when I started it and posted the original story, is the NON-consensual posting and swapping of these pictures. I have looked into these groups out of curiosity, wondering what the motivation of the women involved might be. I was NOT looking to judge them or their partners. What I found when I looked was a number of posters who admitted -- even boasted -- of swapping naked pictures of their wives and/or girlfriends WITHOUT the consent or, sometimes, even knowledge of the women involved. I found and continue to find that disgusting.
I have been attacked in comments on this story and even on my whiteboard for having posted this and for defending it. I have been attacked for not editing it. Fine. Here is the edit. I will continue to post what MY OPINION is without attacking people personally -- a courtesy I expect in return.

How can these men do this? Have they no respect at all for their wives? Have they no consideration for their privacy, decency, modesty or trust?
Oh yes, the men say that they are simply trying to help their modest, shy blushing wives overcome their inhibitions.... as if the husbands were licensed therapists or something and not just sweaty, pervy guys.
I think this is just disgusting.

This is degrading and shows no respect from their spouses. If the woman consents to her picture being shown then that's fine - no problem with that. It's the treating of the women as possessions to be used and shown off by the husband as some kind of trinket. Very degrading. Any discussion about freedom of speech and so on is irrelevant here - it's not about that - whose freedom is being denied here? A guy's freedom to exploit his wife without her knowledge? - I say that's no kind of freedom worth preserving. +4 nods |

It means that I have posted about OTHER responses as well. For the 32nd time, I have NO issue with YOUR opinion (everybody has one). I have a HUGE problem with the banners, kickers, etc. It is not THEIR right nor THEIR job to tell any other user what to do if it is LEGAL to do so! What is so difficult to UNDERSTAND about that? Martian-elli. I call'em as I sees em. I'm very capable of honest debate which is what I had posted previously. However, the pious small minded of you cannot grasp the implications or prejudice or precendent when it comes to THEIR judgement being 'right' and others being 'wrong'. Who TF are you or they to decide? That is my ONLY point. You are able to write these posts on internet sites BECAUSE of that RIGHT. But you mental midgets (your phrase) cannot comprehend the end results for your statements. Which is -- i'll make it clear - that there would be NO EP or other platforms if you got your way. As EVERYONE would have SOMETHING that offends them. In our political correct culture - god forbid. If you don't like to look - don't. If you don't want to communicate with these people, don't accept them as friends or invite them. But they have a right to their community as much as you do. |

See my thread where I 'quoted' the words that were not put into anyone's mouth but 'actually written' The POINT is VERY worth making when some people start to deny the rights of a certain other people. Nothing was taken OUT of CONTEXT. The response was a direct response to the 'quoted' remarks. I made them easy enough for you to read ;) Could I say that lesbians disgust me? But that is what Sara professes! Should I say that lesbians should not be allowed to have a group or opinion here because in my world I find it offensive and dangerous for our children to model themselves after them? Does Sara have the right to a gay marriage? What state does she live? .. it might make her choice - illegal as well as immoral! She is subverting the tenants of the bible - oh my! But, of course, that would not be right. But if I did that, I would be doing the same thing as the 'kick 'em out', 'ban them', 'crack down' on them people would be doing. And I would be JUST as justified in my actions. You have an opinion, fine. The minute you say I "do not" have a right to an opinion, or should be persecuted for my opinion, then there are big problems. And that's what many of the respondents said. Quote. |

I will never again feel that someone who comments on the threads of my posts has anything to say to me, nor shall I ever disagree with those who post here. I am in awe. I am particularly in awe of those who find all groups that find them offensive are in themselves offensive. Shall I now start an experience group that finds the groups that find my groups offensive are also offensive? LMAO! |

When a wife gives a picture to her husband, it is a gift--one that she entrusts to only him. When he shares that gift with others--without her permission--it is a violation of privacy, and a blatant disregard for her as a person. That is the whole point here--breach of trust when men go behind their wives' backs. Comparing blatant dishonesty to homosexuality? Apples and oranges, my friend. It's not like Sara goes around forcing herself on random women. She has more respect for other human beings than that. |

Honestly, I think if you're dumb enough to allow naked pictures of yourself to be taken, and you wouldn't like these pictures to be public, you're a bit self delusional. Relationships go bad, things can easily be stolen, electronic devices can be hacked, and yep, the person you're in a relationship with may be an *** hat. If the thought of your naked pictures going public isn't something you desire, then don't take, or allow someone else to take, pictures of you naked. I would hazard a guess that if the pictures were taken with consent, there's absolutely nothing illegal about them getting out in public. And in a lot of places even if said pictures were taken without consent there's a good chance it's not illegal. The law hasn't completely caught up with technology in a lot of places. I think most people would consider this act immoral and "wrong", but it's not illegal and it's yet another reason not to allow such pictures to be taken if you would ob And doggers, the point about free speech really doesn't apply here. EP is owned by a private entity. For the most part they have a right to choose to allow whatever they want on their site, and to ban whatever they want. |
Feeling chill | Posted Jul 21st, 2009 at 3:10PM Of course, irant, I never said it was illegal. As with you, I find it immoral and wrong -- or to be more exact, totally rank and disgusting. Some women may not even be aware that the pics were being taken, or they may have their "loving" hubbies promise that they will be only looked at by him... or she may think they have been destroyed... I agree that in this new electronic world we ALL have to be very very careful of what we allow done... but not all people are equally sophisticated. Personally, I won't even post modest pics of myself... but I think at least one pic of me rather drunk managed to find its way on to the Internet. But the idea that this would be done by someone you trust... but someone who is supposed to love you.... Just horrible. |
