here are a number of groups here on EP I disagree with and even dislike, but these really bother me.
- I Love to Take Nude Pictures of My Wife (49 people say this)
- I Like to Expose My Wife Nude Pictures (194 people say this)
- I Like to Share Nude Pictures of My Wife (4 people say this)
- I Enjoy Showing Off Nude Pictures of My Wife (183 people say this)
- I Would Like to Trade Email Pics of Nude Wives (80 people say this)
- I Like to Trade Nude Pics of My Sexy Girlfriend (14 people say this)
- I Find Local People to Trade Wife's Pictures (3 people say this)
What's worst about these are the stories about how their wives do not know about this photo-swapping nor approve of it!!!

This is an edit (8 days after the original story) that I did not think I had to make, as most people who have commented seem to understand this, but which I apparently need to make.
While I am not big on swapping nude photos on the Internet in any circumstance, as one never knows what will happen to them, I am not opposed to consenting adults doing this. It is, after all, their business and not mine. What I do not like, and what this Group was all about when I started it and posted the original story, is the NON-consensual posting and swapping of these pictures. I have looked into these groups out of curiosity, wondering what the motivation of the women involved might be. I was NOT looking to judge them or their partners. What I found when I looked was a number of posters who admitted -- even boasted -- of swapping naked pictures of their wives and/or girlfriends WITHOUT the consent or, sometimes, even knowledge of the women involved. I found and continue to find that disgusting.
I have been attacked in comments on this story and even on my whiteboard for having posted this and for defending it. I have been attacked for not editing it. Fine. Here is the edit. I will continue to post what MY OPINION is without attacking people personally -- a courtesy I expect in return.

How can these men do this? Have they no respect at all for their wives? Have they no consideration for their privacy, decency, modesty or trust?
Oh yes, the men say that they are simply trying to help their modest, shy blushing wives overcome their inhibitions.... as if the husbands were licensed therapists or something and not just sweaty, pervy guys.
I think this is just disgusting.

As a woman I have the right to make that decision about sharing my nude pic, or any pic of me for that matter. I find it disgusting that the women let their husbands take pictures with the understanding that they were for his use alone and he breaks her trust by sharing them as if she is a piece of property and not a person with rights. If a woman agrees then that is her choice, but for Gods Sake men, you don't have the right to do this to your wives without her consent and knowledge. Also the argument for free speech does not hold water here as previously stated as this is a private business and subject to the owners rules. Yes these men should be called on the carpet for what they are, bastards with no respect for women. +2 nods   |
 | Posted Jul 21st, 2009 at 11:20PM Again ... and again ... and again ... I agree that the bastard who put up the naked pic without consent is an ahole in the 1st degree. Again ... and again ... i have agreed that EP is a private entity and since they have made it OK to post said pictures, it actually is FINE by them. Or perhaps they should have these guys sign a image contract? You might know that such a contract requires permission of the photo-ee! Again ... the photo-ee is not necessarily being forced ... though i'm not sure about Sara's habits :) The comments about free speech DO fly, btw. It's not literally a freedom of speech issue but a "comparison" to free speech and the idea and precedent behind it. Not the 1st amend itself. IF people who tried to ban books, gays, or 'people with long noses' got their way it would be a sorry world. But ... hmmm.... again ... my ONLY argument was that LIKE the 1st amend... If posters who said 'ban them' 'crack down on them' etc. got their way with each group they didn't like on EP, there would be NO more EP. We all think SOMETHING is disgusting ... immoral ... offensive. But who decides for whom? YOU? I think not. Here EP has decided, and it is allowed! So now go off on people who **** their pants and put their pictures up here or those who **** on their lovers and put their pictures up here ... because I find that quite disgusting. Though I'm not sure I'm about to 'ban them' and 'crack down on them'. I usually leave that to the Iranians, Chinese, etc. because they love that 'ban them' 'crack down' type of stuff ;-) And in the future I'll make sure I don't comment on a comment. That way the author of the original post won't be so confused and will be happy to know that all replies are about HER. |
| Posted Jul 22nd, 2009 at 11:19AM Thank you M2BF. It is too bad this ill will exists towards other people in terms of their own choices. The terms of the T&C (below) are ambiguous, so it would actually (in legal terms) not be an issue to post nudes. But again there is a degree. I personally do not post shots that I consider 'a bit too ... um ... medical". But nudes are not considered obscene (in fact most museums glorify its beauty), unless it is of someone below a certain age. Sexual ACTS though usually are. "Obscene", however, is defined differently in different states and contries. For example, what users post here in words, not only pictures would mean DEATH in a Muslim run country. I have not tried to suggest what that cut off should be, but try to dissuade there being a cut off. There is always block, don't accept, don't join, don't look. Basically, if you are offended by an R rated movie, don't go to it and then complain about it. As WELL put as possible from another EP contributor: "This site was sold to me - by EP itself, as being somewhere to share experiences, confessions and challenges. If that IS the case, then you have to make allowances for their being an infinite range of experiences and desires. If I thought it would make me a better person, I would block everyone who likes country and western music; but as it's not a crime to like it; I simply ignore. Adults use this site to discuss millions of experiences - the law of averages says that there will be things which are uo there in fantasy land,which some people will find offensive or abhorrent. As soon as this site becomes policed or moderated, it dies. I paid for a premium account and at the time nudity was not allowed and the community guidlines state as much Doggers if you care to read them. I felt my money was taken under false pretenses. A web site can not post community guidelines, ask you for money and then disregard those guilelines. I for one do not care if you share pics of your wife IF she agrees and it is with her full knowledge. I don't think that is what the argument is about. It is the men who disrespect their wives that are disgusting. We agre on that point, no? However if you chose to argue. be my guest. I prefer respectul debate. +3 nods |

And I believe it was the point of many of those who agreed with my original post -- I know most all of the people who commented, and I know what their core beliefs are -- at least as they have stated them often here on EP. Many of them I have an active dialog with through pm-ing. I am not out to ban most people from EP-- only the sexual predators and those who like to make personal attacks on people. Just because I many disagree with someone or find their habits disgusting does not mean that I want their accounts closed or them thrown off the site. I believe that most if not all of the people who commented here agree with me on this. However, having said that, I agree with you too. When did EP start allowing some of the avatars that it now allows? Frankly, I am disturbed by the images that are now being used! The same is true for some of the Experience Groups -- sexual acts and pictures of sexually aroused men were not formerly allowed. There are still some of us who liked the way this site was originally designed. I will continue to call out those groups that I find disturbing, disgusting, or on prohibited subjects. I know that this may open me to being harassed by those who disagree with me. We all know some people who have been literally chased off EP by people who apparently WANT this site to turn into a **** zone. I continue to state that I find people who would trade naked photos of their loved ones --without those loved ones even knowing that they are doing it! -- to be totally rank and offensive. I see no redeeming value in those who actually boast of doing this! Just my opinion. +4 nods |

It has been said in comments that the men who do this without the consent of their wives are disgusting but in the original post it just says that the groups are disgusting and that the wives do not know they are doing this. Since you are offended by this, do not go to those groups. What is the big deal? Do you now feel superior for having berated them in public? You feel the pictures are demeaning so it is appropriate to make demeaning comments also? I do not get it. I do not understand your (meaning a plural you for all of those who comment) rationale for vocalizing so adamantly how horrible these people are for doing this just because their morals are not the same as your morals. I know plenty of people who find berating other people to be wrong and yet see nothing wrong with the beauty of their bodies. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I have always been taught that there is not a hierarchy of sins. |
