A Sweet Ritual

This house has never had a dishwasher but a kitchen window that looks out across that piney old ridge is a splendid thing. I've witnessed many beautiful things here in front of this kitchen window in my gown and bare feet. For me, there is something amiably satisfying about hand-washing the cups and plates that my loved ones have taken nourishment from. I am unashamed.

Wow... you must be a patient woman :-)
I love that remarkable window... and also your attitude!

Thank you so much darling, it's a pleasure to meet you. I noticed that you commented on a couple of my photo's. I change these almost daily! :) Visit again and Bright Blessings~

I liked to do it when I was a kid, together with my mom, because we had a bit time to talk alone then with no siblings around. They usually vanished when it came to chores. ;-)

Those were good times for talks, now mothers and daughters text. Yikes!

True. I skype with my son. :-D

To find pleasure in mundane tasks is truly a gift. It makes life joyful.

You are so right Deane. ~ Blessings and Care to you and your wife.
