Raise Money For The Children's Hunger Fund This Week (thanks To Usana Health Sciences)
To celebrate the launch of EP Causes (EP Link), we have teamed up with Usana Health Sciences to empower you to raise money for the Children's Hunger Fund, by earning points via EP Causes.
For those that don't know, the Children's Hunger Fund is a nonprofit organization that works in some of the most needy regions of the world to provide for the needs of children and make a lasting impact on their lives. You can learn more about them at: http://www.chfus.org/
This week, Usana will be donating up to $5,000 to the CHF. As usual, 100% of all donations go directly to the nonprofit. The donations will be made as matching contributions to actions you take to support the CHF. For example, each tweet in support will earn $1, each member that joins the "I Support the Children's Hunger Fund" group will earn $1, etc. In short, for every point that's earned this week, Usana will donate a quarter to the CHF. Here's how to earn points for the kids:
+1 point for each person that "hearts" the CHF, you can do that in the Group or through the Featured Cause module shown throughout EP. EP Link
+4 points for each tweet that includes the hash tag #Help4Kids. You can retweet the message with one click via our TwitCause page here: EP Link
+4 points for each person that joins the "I Support the Children's Hunger Fund" Group: EP Link
+6 points for each person that answers the Featured Cause question of the week, which you can do on the Featured Cause module shown throughout the site as well as in the CHF Group: EP Link
+8 ($2!) points for each story shared in the "I Support the Children's Hunger Fund" Group. Share your story of why this cause matters to you in the Group: EP Link
The question we're asking this week is: "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?" As we've mentioned, the goal of the Featured Cause question of the week is to provide a question that everyone can answer, and that helps you think about what the cause stands for. In this case, the Children's Hunger Fund helps kids in need by giving them hope. We believe that by giving kids hope it gives them the strength to dream and achieve those dreams. So, when kids dream of a bright future, together we can help them make that dream a reality.
