I Forgot The Title
#1 is a book set in the future. (I think it was teen oriented.) In this future you can get put into a machine that lets you live your wildest fantasies. Unfortunately most people don't want to come out and are therefore lost to their families and since only your mind enters the fantasy bodies become neglected. So the families can hire these people called dogs who could drag the 'addict' out of their fantasies. I think pulling the people from the fantasies involved having to enter the fantasy themselves and sort of acting out a video game scenario because disconnecting them from the machine would kill them. One scenario I recall involving The Red Baron.
#2 is again a futuristic (dystopian) (Why does spell check tell me that is not a word?) teen oriented novel. All I really remember is that they live in some dome- perhaps on mars- where women are routinely kidnapped and traded due to a shortage of females. I think the plot revolved around a young woman and a male friend trying to escape.
#3 which I remember even less of was set in a post-apocalyptic world where some humans had gone underground because of a nuclear scare. These people built an underground society and were forbidden to go above ground. A boy finds a hole and upon coming above ground is surprised to find greenery. While up there he meets a girl who lives with her father and they commence trying to convince the elders of the underground to come above ground. (Possibly older people new about each other and simply didn't want to associate or the father of the girl was once from the underground and escaped.)
Now if you can make anything of those garbled plots you are freaking genius!
