Possible Cure?

I 've had this "crud," as I call it, for at least 10 years now.  I never had a doctor who could tell me anything more than "I have cryptic tonsils."  I finally figured out how to keep the tonsilloliths (a word I just learned from all of you, thank you SO MUCH!) away.

I'm not the kind of person who drinks 8 glasses a day.  I usually just drink a glass or so when I eat, or if I'm really thirsty.  When I got married, my husband was into drinking fruit juices, not iced tea, like me.  So I conformed, started drinking juice.  Juice is very concentrated, intense stuff, I can't drink a large amount of it--I can only do 1/4 to 1/2 glass.  I used to drink about 2 glasses of tea with dinner.  Sure enough, I started getting  a LOT more tonsilloliths.  So I quit the fruit juice, and now stick to water and iced tea, and the occasional coke...not sure if the kind of tea has anything to do with it.  I make a pitcher of tea using 1 bag of Earl Grey green tea (so it tastes decent to me) and 1 bag of Lipton/Luzianne/Community whatever.  My fluid intake has increased to what i guess is a more optimal level for me, and I now hardly ever have the little boogers, and no more tonsillitis (which used to occur a couple of times a year).  Whenever they appear, I dig them out and up the fluids.

I hope this helps you!  No doctor could help me, turns out it was just common sense!  I'm glad I'm not the only person out there!
