I Found It Hard to Be Monogamous...

I found it hard to be monogamous. I have been cheated on once (that I know of).

I have cheated on all my past relationships but one. It really had nothing to do with the other person. There were just many opportunities. Too much trust maybe. Sometimes I just did it because I could get away with it. People say I only cheat myself but I disagree.

Just because I’m intimate with someone doesn’t mean I love my partner less.

Doesn’t mean I love myself any less. Do I feel guiltily? Only if I get caught. Some say maybe I don’t love the person I’m with enough. Not true either. I might cheat on someone less just because their more intolerable to it. So if you have been cheated. Maybe it’s not fault some of us just can’t be monogamous.

I feel the same way about being non-monogamous.
I would love a girlfriend or wife I could share often.

If it feels good, do it

All the above.. :-)
I'm not proud.
Glad no one got hurt..

So, when you made that choice was it simply for pleasure when the opportunity presented itself? Or was the thrill "getting away with something"? Or something else?
