We've Found The Answer.

It's sobering to think that so many years ago, in a world that seemed just as helpless and hopeless and cold as ours is today, that in the least likely of places, the event that would change the world was about to take place. Hope was about to be restored. Peace was to be known. Healing was in reach. Love was breaking through. A King was being born. The fate of all the world, of you and me, was on the run and found refuge in a lowly manger. Yet despite all of the odds and all the world stacked against Him, He came. With his first cry, He breathed in all the filth, sin, hurt, pain, disappointment, regret, and disparity of the world and He exhaled hope and love and peace and joy and restoration and promise and forgiveness and strength and justice and mercy. He breathed life back into the world. Tonight the hearts of the saints join together in a loud cry for our generation, for our nation, for the church, and for the world. With a one voice we once again plead that you would come, Emmanuel. That you would be our God with us. With grateful hearts and on bent knees we thank you for Jesus, for the life He would live, for the death he would defeat, for the Kingdom he would bring.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder. His name shall be be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace." Is 9:6
