Just Something We Knew

Freshmen year of high school we were buddies. We shared science class and study hall together, and I never really noticed him til then. We did go to middle school together as well. Ever since the first day of high school he had a huge crush on me, but never had the courage to confess. I always thought no guy would ever really like me. But I'm so happy we became friends then. We were lab buddies and I hung out with him and his friends a lot. I got him to go to anime club with me after school too. [One of my friends made a remark saying he looks like the faithful type. Boy was she right!]
There were moments where I just wanted to kiss him. I never thought a guy would have this kind of hold on me. But with our own groups of  friends kept teasing us for flirting with each other, waiting for us to go out already. I made the decision on leap day, 2008 in our study hall class. I asked him out and it was one of the greatest decisions of my life. 
We've evolved so much since then. We grew up together, shared experiences and clicked. Just something neither of us can explain, the way we connect and share intimacy..the way we work together...Can't imagine being with anyone else. No one else attracts me the way he appeals to me. He's just a one-of-a-kind guy.
