A Nice Surprise...

I wonder how many people here found this site because they googled "social anxiety" or personal issues alike.

I cried for no reason again this night, i knew it was my depression again, and I knew I just have to do something to make me feel better. I was sitting by my laptop, so I googled "how many people out there are depressed", clicked on the first link and explored around a bit and decided to join in (I always fall for serendipity).

Anyway, it did make me stop crying and feel grateful again.

Yeah, the whole "therapeutic" thing seems to help me sometimes too. Just a place to anonymously vent and get some things off your chest for a bit. Not to mention the good people on here willing to listen and give advice.

I can't remember how I found this site either, only remember that it was last fall. I tested it, then forgot all about it, then one day I accidentally found it again in my favorite folder as I was doing some cleaning and maintenance. Anywho, indeed, I'm glad this is available and it's a "good" therapeutic tool for me.....along with the facts that I've quite a bit of insights and learn that I'm not alone on some issues I have to deal with, meeting/making friends with some very kind people.....

If for nothing else, the friends I've made here make me glad I made that search as well. :)
