to break a heart,
to break a heart is to tear one apart,
to tear one apart completly from within,
from within the heart shatters to pieces,
to pieces so thin they could be passed through the eye of the needle,
the needle slowly pricking at one to bring about pain,
pain so unbearable the eyes have no choice but to rain,
rain with no forecast for a sunny day in sight,
in sight lays many long and lonely nights,
lonely nights seem like they are never ending,
never ending nights leaving one with nothing to do but to ponder,
to ponder about the past can often leave one somber,
somber faced and searching for a way out,
a way out of the darkness,
the darkness leaves one with scars,
scars which can not be seen,
seen is the damage done,
done are the days of not being guarded,
guarded the heart will forever be once it has been put back together,
put back together hoping it never learns again what it's like to break a heart
