can't stand it when I'm sick...I'm not on my game, I'm crabby and I'm tired. So many people depend on me for things and when I can't deliver, they are disappointed, which bums me out.
When I don't feel good and am crabby, some people take it personally..."what did I do wrong?" or "why are you mad at me?" Why can't some people understand that I cannot be happy and peppy all the time? It takes a lot of energy to keep that facade up and when I don't feel well, I just don't have that kind of energy.
Oh, and heaven forbid if I expect any sympathy at home...when they are sick, it's "mommy, take care of me" or "wife, I need this". I'm lucky if I get any extra rest when I am sick, which is why it takes me so long to recover.
Sorry for the rant...I'm not feeling well...(as I'm sure you can tell by my crabbiness, right?) :-)
