An Answer With No Backed Research

I promise, I wasn't looking for a fight, but I do enjoy a good debate. I like when people can back their statements with fact, because sometimes I am wrong. I was hoping that there would be something said that would maybe prove me wrong. Instead it was just repeated that I was basically still wrong, but with no facts.

The question was do you have an issue with smoking pot.

Weed may be "medically approved" but there is always a drawback to INHALING something into your body.

So then, you wouldn't have a problem with a vaporizer? It's still inhaling, but there is NO harm to the lungs or other body parts. Did you know that the human body actually has cannabinoid receptors? Yeah, turns out pot was meant for our bodies. It also helps prevent bone deterioration, relieves, depression, anxiety, pain (like headaches), and is even used to help people with asthma.

I did. I have smoked pot for 7 years now, and consequently have met a lot of other pot smokers. I've never met anyone with "disoriented perception" from smoking. Actually just yesterday I was reading an article that it is scientifically proven that marijuana does NOT affect learning or memory in a negative way. The study went further to say that the test groups that did smoke before an exam did better overall on their exams. The respiratory problems are also exaggerated. OK, so smoking pot has 4x more tar than a cigarette. But, and here's the key, the marijuana tar, does NOT stick to the lungs because it doesn't have the same components of tobacco.

It's still dangerous though in more than one way I wouldn't particularly use it.
