What Else Would They Have?

My office is the administrative office for retail dining services at a fairly large university. We have 10 locations that run out of our office, including three coffee shops, three free-standing restaurants, two food courts, and a convenience store. For whatever reason, someone decided to put my office phone number on there as the phone number for each component instead of the numbers for each location so that customers can call directly with questions or concerns. So, I get a lot of calls each day with simple questions about hours of operation, the occasional complaint, directions, and pre-ordering for large events. It's annoying at times, but not so much so that I can't get everything managed.

Now and then, though, a person will call with something odd or will be extremely confrontational. Evidently, the marketing people haven't gotten around to updating the website to reflect our summer hours. Lots of calls from people irritated that they tried to go eat at a location that is closed which is understandable. Also, the last Quizno's in our city is located in one of our food courts. People are not happy about that at all.

Then, there are the weird questions. Like the person who called me a few minutes ago and asked if Quizno's had sandwiches. Really? Have you never seen a commercial for the place? That's pretty much all they have. Sandwiches.
