I Miss Sleep

I think there was a time many, many years ago when I did sleep for 8 hours. But not anymore.

Having insomnia is the main problem. But even with sleep aids, which do help me sleep now, I only get about 6 hours of sleep. 7 on a good night. I guess it's not a lot less than 8, but it feels like a lot.

I always wake up feeling like I didn't sleep much at all. Maybe the sleep aids are just making me sleep, but I'm still not resting. Like my mind is still active, but I'm not fully conscious to realize it. I don't know.

One day, I shall find true sleep again.
