Once In A Blue Moon

A few weeks ago, I began getting a migraine headache, but didn't have the usual symptoms that I normally get when I get a migraine headache. I usually get zig zags pattern, but this time I just started having a bad headache on the side of my head. When I begin having signs the first I do is go straight to bed and turn off all the lights, television and my laptop and try to go to sleep, but instead all I did was toss and turn, because my head hurt so badly. I had taken 3 Tylenol painkillers for migraines, but it didn't help. And your only suppose to take one tablet. It ended up being just a sleepless night for me.

I remember about 19 years ago, when I had my last migraine headache I began getting zig zags and then my head started throbbing at the time I was out visiting some friends. I had to tell them that I needed to leave and go home. That night I slept alone, because my husband and I had a water bed, so had to sleep in the guest room, but was able to sleep even though had nausea and numbness in my hands and feet. I was in my 30's at the time I had my last migraine headache. And now I am in my 50's and still get migraine headaches.

I hope that you drink enough water, avoid anything with peanuts and mono-sodium-glutamate (MSG)!

I wish I knew someone, but unfortunately the one person I can think of is my family doctor. But maybe your friend can go to her family physician to see if she or he could recommend a specialist. I have not told my doctor yet about my problems with getting migraine headaches. I think next time I see her I am going to talk to her about them.

I wish I had an answer for you, unfortunately I do not.. I hope that you do find a solution to your migraine headaches soon. I have some one that I do know at work, who gets them too. and she is in a lot of time. If some one can give you a solution that works, could you please let me know. Thank You
