Tired Of Small Town Politics

I have a no. of instances where I have felt injustices have occured in both my and my husbands life. This particular story relates to him-and his wrongful public firing in a small town. His high-profile position (considered as such by the community, not us) was yanked unjustly away from him as the Chair of the Board for his not-for-profit organization wasn't used to being corrected or put in her place. Because she has a lot of money (not acquired by her, but by her deceased husband)she has clout with many influential business members. My husband was recognized for providing outstanding work during his duration as the General Manager. When the aforementioned individual, whom I shall call "her highness" deemed it her business to fire him without cause (did I mention we have 6 small children) we were told by numerous lawyers they wouldn't touch the case. Seems as though her influence has far-reaching effects. Though we still plan on pursuing it on our own terms in the new year, I cannot tell you the havoc this has played in our lives. Don't tell me most of us would gladly see such an individual publicly brought to shame (and maybe suffer a slow and debilitating disease) for her efforts. I just put into words nobody else has the guts to. Now how do I use that energy for establishing myself into a career? I refuse to "play the game" and want my voice to be heard. Simply because one has money shouldn't mean they step over the majority of us who did nothing to warrant it. I'm beyond angry and need to direct that anger and energy for a positive purpose. Any suggestions?
