I have a hunting camp in Kato (centre country)

I love walking across the creek and seeing all the old foundations, we have the only original building which used to be the hotel, btw you spelled Kato wrong, its not Cato ;)

You forgot Turnip Hole in Clarion County

Kelletville is on Rtr666 approx 15 mi from tionesta has a few residents and a lot of seasonal res the Flying W Ranch is located there. I have had a camp there since 1966 It is along the Tionesta Creek. It was a lumbering boomtown in the early 1900s with stores, churches, a hotel etc the PO closed in the mid 1960s

Bunkertown 2 miles N McAlisterville.

Bunkertown is a bedroom community

Evendale 2 1/2 miles NE Cocolamus on N county line.

is a nice rural town. My niece lived there. It's a bedroom community for Harrisburg and Seilingsgrove [and I can't spell that I know]

Oriental 4 1/2 miles due N Liverpool Ditto Evendale. All coummunities at that end of the county are now bedroom communities for Harrisburg and Selingsgrove [I refuse to Google] and I am tired of doing each indvidual..

Mexico 12 miles WNW Newport, was once a busy industrial town, now a farm village. Snort snicker.. howl. Ok let me tell the supermarket, video store, River Fishing with Campground and Jeep Dealer to move so it can be a farm community.. And watch out for traffic. It's the first area outside of Mifflintown to get its own light system for traffic. There are a couple nice old buildings there and a nice brand new sewer system. It is a bedroom community for Harrisburg also.

Bigham 3 miles NE Honey Grove.

Well only if you want the local farmer to shoot at you for tresspassing in his field. There is NOTHING there but corn field. Good luck finding a ghost. Fort Bigham has been gone since the Indians last walked the Tuscarora path on a daily basis. It's called Farmer's Grove now.

Warble 2 1/2 miles SW Spruce Hill.

Heck I LIVE here and I don't even know where that is.

Blacklog 3 miles due N Cross Keys.

Well after you go over the ridge in the dirt road and head down it 7 miles until you are across from Cross Keys, make sure you make friends with the bears. The last one I saw was higher than my Jeep Grand Cherokee front. There is nothing there but state forest and a LOT of wild life. Take Jeep. Take Gun and if something big comes toward you in the woods run because it ain't no ghost. Make sure you don't visit in the spring when they are waking up and hungry ok?

You don't even have our claim to fame in Mt Pleasant near Farmer's Grove. It's an Indian Mound from the mound builders. Contents suggest a war happened there and they simply buried all the dead in the same mound. Haunted? Best chances: Academia. Peru Mill's Patterson's farm, An old stone house at Nook. Blacklog itself [a valley] which my mother just said "Horrible things happened there. People went in and never came out." She didn't mean ghosts got them but the locals of the time might have.

Wow it would be worth atrip there-lol
